Reports suggest that Tottenham are interested in signing Porto midfielder Hector Herrera.
As the summer transfer window shut for Premier League clubs last month, Spurs will have to wait until January to make a bid for the Mexican player.
Herrera starred for Mexico in the Russia World Cup this summer.
It is said that Pochettino wants to strengthen his midfield options at the club, and hence is looking at the likes of Herrera, Diawara and De Jong.
The 28-year-old midfielder has played nearly 200 games for Porto, scoring 27 goals.
The Portuguese giants signed Herrera for just £8m back in 2013, but the first team regular will be worth well over that price tag now.
A good fit for Spurs?
