Tottenham issue Champions League final ticket update – bad news for some Spurs fans

Tottenham Hotspur have been on a rollercoaster ride in their quest to win the Champions League this season.

The club faced near certain elimination in the group stages, after taking just one point from their opening three games.

However, wins over PSV and Inter Milan, as well as a hard-fought point away to Barcelona, saw Tottenham sneak through into the knockout rounds.

Spurs then battered Borussia Dortmund 4-0 over two legs, before scoring three away goals at Man City, followed by a second-half comeback against Ajax to qualify for their first ever final.

Before this season, Spurs had only ever been in one quarter-final of the competition, now they have a real chance of lifting the trophy.

Tottenham will come up against Liverpool in the final, however, fans now face their own quest to reach Madrid on June 1st.

Any Spurs season ticket holders without a ticket have now seen their odds of watching the game live slashed, as the club announced today that all Tottenham tickets have sold out.

Spurs Web Opinion:

The ticket allocation this year for the final has been ridiculous, not to mention the prices of hotels and flights to Madrid. It looks as if fans will have to rely on competitions and giveaways from sponsors if they are to find a golden ticket now. Let’s just hope fans at least get to see their team win the final on TV.
