Tottenham issue update to fans after new Premier League suspension announcement

Tottenham Hotspur have now issued an update to fans in light of the latest announcement from the Premier League this afternoon.

Sky Sports revealed earlier today that all domestic competitions in the men’s and women’s game would be suspended until April 30 at the very earliest. This followed the initial announcement last week that had the date set at April 4 (BBC).

Tottenham are only fighting in the Premier League this season after their recent exits in both the FA Cup and Champions League, as the top four race remains somewhat open.

The Lilywhites have now issued a statement claiming that any fans with tickets for matches during this new suspended period, including season ticket holders, will be able to use their ticket for any eventual rescheduled match.

The club have also urged fans to check their emails and the Tottenham channels for future updates, while a dedicated Spurs COVID-19 page has been created to keep supporters in the loop.
