Tottenham January transfer talk

Tottenham became the first Premier League club ever not to sign a single player in the summer transfer window this year.

However, with injuries piling up, that doesn’t mean manager Pochettino won’t be dipping into the market come January.

The Mirror report Spurs are still interested in Lyon midfield ace Tanguy N’Dombele, after they had an offer rejected in the summer.

Spurs would have to break their transfer record and offer something in the region of £55m, with other clubs sniffing around.

Team Talk report Tottenham are looking at bringing in Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha on a free transfer in the summer, but will probably want to get the deal lined up before then.

Michel Vorm is out of contract at the end of the year, which is why Spurs will be in the market for a new keeper.

The Lazio shot stopped is a target of Liverpool.

HITC claim Spurs are reigniting their interest in Turkish winger Cengiz Under, after they missed out on his signature in 2017.

Ajansspor say the attacker was close to joining Spurs before he finally chose Roma.

TalkSport suggest Spurs are also in for Genoa striker and lead Serie A goal scorer Krzysztof Piatek.

He has scored nine goals already this season and would provide the perfect back up for Harry Kane.

The Daily Star report Spurs could be in for £40m ex-Chelsea centre back Nathan Ake, while The Daily Mirror claim a £100m bid for Jadon Sancho may be on the cards.
