Whether Thomas Frank sticks around or not, it seems Tottenham are certainly keeping an eye on his former club with a view to snapping up their best talent.
Tottenham fans will be hoping the club makes some serious moves in the January transfer window, with the current squad obviously not up to the task.
Whether that’s on the players or on Thomas Frank is another matter, but change is needed in some way, shape, or form.
It is thought Frank will get the full season with Spurs before any decision is made, and now it has emerged that he could get some help from his former club, although they will be reluctant to do business on this particular target.

Tottenham are linked with Michael Kayode
In a report from TuttoJuve, it’s said Spurs are one of a handful of clubs showing a strong interest in Brentford’s Michael Kayode.
The Italian has started every game for the Bees since joining from Fiorentina in the summer, and has made a great impression upon arriving in the Premier League.
It is believed Tottenham are one of the big clubs ‘pursuing him’ right now, with the likes of Man City, Newcastle, Juventus, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich also keen.
The report adds that Brentford are not willing to sell Kayode unless they get a ‘very high offer’ as they are well aware of the player’s ‘immense potential’ and they have him tied into a contract until 2030.
Kayode’s agent thinks a big move will happen
Whether Tottenham could actually get the deal done for Kayode is another matter. Obviously, Brentford will not want to let him go, and the other clubs chasing the right-back will raise the price substantially.
It is likely Kayode will move on eventually, though. It’s something his agent predicted months ago, when he told TuttoMercatoWeb: “It’s still very early. Let’s enjoy this good moment for him, then it’s inevitable that if he continues on this trend, something important could come his way.”
Interestingly, this is the second Brentford player to be linked with Spurs this week, amid claims Kevin Schade could join Tottenham. But, with the Bees above the Lilywhites in the league table, will these players question whether they’d actually be making a move in the right direction?
For someone like Kayode, who looks like he will have his pick of the clubs in Europe, it’s hard to imagine him picking Spurs given the current situation.
