The pressure is mounting on Roberto De Zerbi and Tottenham Hotspur as they have failed to score for the fourth Premier League match in a row.
Spurs came out flying out of the blocks at the start of the clash against Everton, with the players clearly wanting to send out a message after picking up just one point from their first three fixtures.
They were extremely dominant for around half an hour of the game, but despite their territorial and possession advantage, they could not translate it into clear-cut chances.
Their inability to score early appeared to take the wind off their sails, as Spurs fans watched an extremely frustrating second-half display, where the home side failed to threaten Everton’s goal.

According to Sky Sports, this is the first time in Tottenham’s 144-year history that they have failed to score in any of their first four league games of the campaign.
If that was not bad enough, there is another discouraging stat which De Zerbi will not want to hear.
According to Goal.com, Spurs’ clash against Everton was the first Premier League game to end in a 0-0 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Lilywhites have called this venue home for over seven years, and have played 140 Premier League games at the stadium, but this is the first occasion when the supporters have not seen a single goal go in.
De Zerbi claims Spurs players are still at the required physical level
De Zerbi admitted that it was disheartening to see Tottenham fail to trouble the scorers again, especially given the dominance they had in the opening exchanges.
The Tottenham boss suggested that many of his players are still not at peak physical condition yet, which is why they could not sustain the same intensity after 30 minutes.
However, it is clear that those reasons will not carry water with the fans much longer, with the supporters starting to get extremely worried about where the goals are going to come from.
