AC Milan’s stance on Pervis Estupinan has now been revealed after Tottenham Hotspur expressed interest in the player.
Even if Spurs avoid relegation, the expectation is that there will be some major changes to the Tottenham squad this summer after another poor campaign domestically.
Some senior players could be on their way out this summer, with Destiny Udogie being among those attracting transfer interest.
Spurs have identified a Serie A star as a potential replacement for the Italy international, and the Lilywhites have been handed a boost ahead of their summer pursuit.

Tottenham target Pervis Estupinan may be set for an AC Milan exit
A couple of days ago, reports from Italy claimed that Tottenham had set their sights on Pervis Estupinan, who swapped Brighton for AC Milan last summer.
This has now been backed up in a new report in CalcioMercato, which claims that the North London club are ready to bring the left-back to the Premier League.
The outlet states that the Rossoneri management have not been entirely convinced by Estupinan’s performances this term, and could be ready to cash in on him after just one season.
With Tottenham now setting their sights on the Ecuador international, it is suggested that his future at the San Siro now ‘hangs in the balance’.
Roberto De Zerbi factor could play a role in Spurs’ Estupinan pursuit
Reports suggest that Roberto De Zerbi is now close to agreeing a deal to become Tottenham’s next head coach after the Lilywhites parted ways with Igor Tudor.
CalcioMercato point out that De Zerbi worked with Estupinan at the Amex Stadium and suggests that the Italian’s arrival at Spurs could play a role in the club’s pursuit of the left-back.
Even though Milan paid €19m (£16.4m) including bonuses to sign Estupinan last year, it is alleged that they would be ready to sell him for around €14m (£12m) this summer.
