Tottenham keeper set to start against Manchester United

After his week of controversy, Hugo Lloris is reportedly set to start the match against Manchester United on MNF tomorrow evening.

Many were unsure whether the Frenchman would be selected after he was arrested for drink driving earlier in the week, but it appears that Pochettino will stick by his man.

However, it is still unclear whether Lloris will be donning his usual captain’s armband during the game at Old Trafford, as rumours suggest that, along with a £240,000 fine, the club could punish him by removing the honour.

Harry Kane is favourite to take over as Tottenham captain, with Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier as vice captains.

It remains to be seen whether Lloris or Kane will emerge from the tunnel with the band wrapped around their arm tomorrow night.
