Sources in Italy have now shared what they are hearing about Simone Inzaghi after fresh Tottenham Hotspur links ahead of Fabio Paratici’s return to N17.
Indeed, Ange Postecoglou would be hoping his recent Europa League win would be enough to keep him at the Tottenham Hotspur dugout for at least one more season.
But a recent report suggests that Spurs could still sack Ange Postecoglou despite the manager’s recent success in Europe and his enjoying the support of the Tottenham players.
It is stated that it would take a big shift if the Australian is to remain manager at Hotspur Way, with the Tottenham higher-ups seeing it as a huge risk to continue with the 59-year-old.

Simone Inzaghi expected to stay despite Tottenham interest
One name has been floated around to potentially take over from Postecoglou and it is Simone Inzaghi, the current head coach of Inter Milan.
The Italian has enjoyed huge success as a manager, winning nine major honours during his spells at Inter and Lazio. With Fabio Paratici expected to return as sporting director at Tottenham, it is being reported that he is pushing for Inzaghi to take charge at Spurs.
A fresh update has now revealed what sources in Italy are now saying about Simone Inzaghi leaving Inter after Tottenham links. It has been stated that the Italian manager is likely to remain in Italy for at least one more season despite Spurs’ interest.
Barclay told The Tottenham Way podcast: “Simone Inzaghi is a sort of new one. Obviously, the Paratici link is understandable with an Italian and one who is doing so well as that.
“The last time I spoke to quite a lot of counterparts in the Italian press, they seemed to be under the impression that he would be staying no matter what at Inter Milan next season.
“You could make the case that if he loses, he might be even more likely to stay because he wants to go and finish the job, I suppose. But I do not know.”
Simone Inzaghi’s future may rest on Champions League outcome
Inter Milan are UEFA Champions League finalists, and it is expected that after the UCL final, Inzaghi will speak with the higher-ups about his future.
That is according to Inter journalist Fabrizio Biasin, who has also stated that his gut feeling is that Inzaghi will remain with the Nerazzurri for at least one more season.
When asked how he expects the Inter boss’s future to pan out, he said: “After the Champions League final, he will meet with Inter to find an agreement to continue together.
“To talk about normal things like contract, market and so on. If they find an agreement, we will move forward together. My feeling is that he will remain the coach of Inter.”
