Tottenham scouted Parma midfielder Mandela Keita

Journalist Guglielmo Trupo has now revealed that Tottenham have been impressed by Parma midfielder Mandela Keita this season.

The Belgian has seen his stock rise steadily, and his impressive defensive performances in front of the back four have made him a wanted man.

Trupo states that other Premier League clubs, apart from the Lilywhites, are also fans of the 23-year-old midfielder, but does not reveal who those clubs are.

He wrote on X: “Mandela Keita, engine of Parma: 150 professional appearances at 23 years old, duels and tackles won 100% against Fiorentina. Cuesta is enjoying him, Tottenham is watching. But he’s not the only one in the Premier League eyeing the Belgian.”

Spurs watched Mandela Keita last weekend

Meanwhile, a report in Parma Today reveals that Tottenham’s scouts were at the Ennio Tardini Stadium last Saturday to watch Keita in action.

The midfielder played 90 minutes, winning 100 per cent of his tackles and aerial duels as Parma emerged with a 1-0 win over Fiorentina.

The report asserts that the Spurs representatives were impressed by the way the 23-year-old dominated the midfield battle and his ability to dictate the tempo of play from deep.
