Tottenham Hotspur have endured a horrible few weeks as a club, after starting the season so positively with three wins out of three.
Since these highs, Spurs have thrown away a lead in their defeat to Watford in the Premier League, and Inter Milan in the Champions League, as well as being well beaten by Liverpool.
Tottenham’s title credentials, and even top four credentials, have taken a huge hit, as the players are struggling to hit anything close to top form.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino seems to be under pressure for the first time in his four year reign, as people are questioning his every move on team selection, substitutions, and spending of money.
Spurs have looked far from their best all season, even during the early days, as something doesn’t seem quite right with the team.
They look tired and sluggish, perhaps fatigued after such a long Premier League campaign, followed by nine first team players reaching the World Cup semi finals.
One man who is not feeling the pressure is Tottenham Legend Ossie Ardiles, who has come out in full support of the team and the manager.

2/ Very talented squad full of young players, internationals nearly all. Is this a crisis? Yes, we are not playing as well as we can. I have the feeling we are paying the price of having so many players in the WC. Some look a touch jaded, tired.

3/ Time to stop the ball in midfield, put a foot over it and think. Good test for everybody in the club, specially for MP. He will be stronger and a better manager when He cross the river to the other side. I said 3 weeks ago that I wont change MP for any manager in the world…

Now, 3 weeks later, I repeat myself. I wont change him for any manager because He is the best. It is a "blip" right now in our performance but it will pass and, we will be fighting for everything in this season. In Poch I trust! COYS COYS COYS
