Tottenham’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea has set the alarm bells ringing among Spurs fans who are concerned that they have been dragged back into the dog fight for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Back to back defeats for Spurs has meant that their gap with Arsenal has been cut down to just four points.
If Arsenal win the North London derby tomorrow lunchtime, the lead will be reduced to just one point which will put Tottenham in a perilous position as they still need to travel to Anfield as well as the Etihad.
Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has asked Spurs fans to instead think positively and consider an alternate scenario.
The former defender pointed out that if Spurs beat Arsenal on Saturday, they could potentially go 10 points clear by next weekend if their rivals suffer a loss at the hands of Manchester United.

Roberts’ point is certainly a good one as despite the doom and gloom surrounding the club at the moment we could find ourselves 10 points clear of Arsenal, and in the last 8 of the Champions League by the time the international break comes around.
