Tottenham legend mocks West Ham chairman on Twitter with funny response

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham have an intense London rivalry, with each always determined to get one over on the other at any opportunity.

However, it appears as if Spurs legend, Graham Roberts, has won this round for the Lilywhites, as he called out West Ham chairman David Gold on Twitter.

David Gold tweeted out a message stating that West Ham boasted the cheapest season ticket in the Premier League at £320 (Mirror).

In contrast, the cheapest season ticket available to adults at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium is a whopping £795.

Graham Roberts wasn’t about to let Gold and West Ham get one up on Tottenham though, as he responded with a witty comment about Hammers fans needing binoculars to watch the match.

The Olympic Stadium famously includes a running track, meaning that even front row fans are some distance from the pitch, a stark contrast to the new Spurs ground.

Roberts 1-0 Gold.
