Tottenham are already looking ahead to the summer window, with fresh reports linking them to a Premier League forward they were keen on signing last year as their injury crisis continues to bite.
It is no news that Tottenham Hotspur have had to deal with several injuries this season, and that has only been compounded following their win against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.
Xavi Simons and Dominic Solanke became the latest to pick up serious injuries, bringing their respective seasons to an end.
Simons ruptured his ACL and will not kick a ball again this season, with a return pencilled in for next year, while Solanke is reported to be nursing a grade two hamstring problem that will also see him miss the rest of the campaign.

Tottenham target Yoane Wissa in £55m transfer move
With the season nearing its end and the summer transfer window set to open, Spurs will have to delve into the market regardless of the division they are in.
Spurs Web believes the forward and wide areas are among the five key positions Tottenham must strengthen this summer.
A fresh report from Flashscore has revealed that Spurs have set their sights on Premier League forward Yoane Wissa, who has managed just 451 minutes this season.
The former Brentford man was on Spurs’ radar last summer when Thomas Frank was manager, after a stellar campaign in front of goal, where he scored 19 goals and provided five assists.
However, Spurs failed to secure his signature, and Wissa instead joined Newcastle United for £55 million, but could now be headed out following a difficult 12 months on Tyneside.
The DR Congo international has struggled for minutes due to injuries and has managed just one league goal.

Spurs could revisit Yoane Wissa deal at lower fee
Tottenham could secure the signature of Wissa for significantly less than they would have paid last summer when he was at Brentford.
This is because Newcastle are understood to be open to offers for the 29-year-old and has accepted they will make a significant financial loss.
It is claimed there is little chance of recouping the original £55 million fee, with the striker potentially available for around half the amount they paid, although Spurs are set to face competition from Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.
There is also interest from outside England, with Saudi Arabian clubs keen, and a move to the Middle East has been described as a realistic option should a Premier League stay not materialise.
For Wissa, it is claimed he is open to a fresh start as he looks to secure regular minutes after a frustrating spell at Newcastle.
