Tottenham line-up to face Man City in cup final announced – Kane starts

Tottenham Hotspur are now just one hour away from kicking off in the Carabao Cup Final against Man City, their final hope for a trophy this season.

Spurs were knocked out of the FA Cup by Everton in a 5-4 thriller and saw themselves dumped out of the Europa League in embarrassing fashion by Dinamo Zagreb.

In the Premier League, the Lilywhites may have led the competition in December, but they are now struggling to even make the top four.

Jose Mourinho was thus relieved of his duties last week after 17 months in charge of the North London outfit, replaced by interim head coach, Ryan Mason.

Boyhood Spurs fan and academy graduate, Mason will be hoping to end Tottenham’s 13-year wait for a trophy that dates all the way back to the 2008 Carling Cup.

All the talk before the game was about whether Harry Kane would be passed fit to face City and, thankfully for Spurs fans, he has.

The official team is as follows:

Hugo Lloris;

Serge Aurier, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Sergio Reguilon;

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Giovani Lo Celso, Harry Winks;

Lucas Moura, Harry Kane, Heung-min Son
