Samuel-Iling-Junior has been linked with Spurs for some time

Iling-Junior has been mooted as a target for Tottenham Hotspur for quite a long time and some outlets have backed the Lilywhites to reignite their interest in the 20-year-old this summer.

This includes an update by The Telegraph back in April, which suggested that Ange Postecoglou is keen on adding a winger to his Tottenham first-team squad, with the Juve player and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Willams being named as the options at the top of the North London club’s wishlist.

Iling-Junior made 24 appearances in Serie A for Juventus last season, scoring one goal and the vast majority of those came off the bench.

Juventus are looking to cash in on the winger

TuttoJuve have now claimed that the Bianconeri are now looking to actively sell Iling-Junior and have already informed potential suitors of the player’s availability.

The report reveals that the England Under-21 international is attracting interest from within Serie A, with Bologna and Atalanta both keen.

Additionally, Tottenham and Newcastle United are also said to be monitoring the winger, who is thought to be valued by Juve at €15m (£12.7m).

Interestingly, the publication adds that Iling-Junior could also be used by the Old Lady as a part of a swap deal to sign Mason Greenwood from Manchester United.

Spurs Web Opinion

Iling-Junior is a promising young player but Tottenham are going to need more than just potential in just summer. We need a top-class wide-attacker who would considerably improve our starting eleven.

Tottenham have already made the move to bring Timo Werner back on a season-long loan from RB Leipzig, while Bryan Gil is expected to move on after a disastrous time in N17.
