Ange Postecoglou is a fan of Nico Williams

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is said to be keen to land the Spanish international, who signed a new deal in December until 2027, with Estadio Deportivo claiming last month that his previous €50m release clause has only risen by a further €5m.

Aston Villa, Arsenal and Liverpool are all also keen on the 21-year-old while Chelsea could also step up their interest if they manage to offload Raheem Sterling this summer.

The North Londoners have already made initial checks to assess Williams’ interest and if he is prepared to swap La Liga for the Premier League.

Nico Williams‘ versatility will be an obvious attraction to Ange Postecoglou considering he can play anywhere across the front line.

Pace and versatility in positions has been a key attribute of how Postecoglou likes to set up his team, however, given the interest in Williams, they may face a tough battle for his signature this summer.
