Tottenham main man claims that a lack of signings gives the squad ‘huge belief’

Tottenham made history this season before a single ball was kicked… impressive right?

They became the first club in Premier League history not to sign a player in the summer transfer window, choosing instead to favour a settled squad for the new season.

This decision was mocked by rivals, and met with anger from some of the Spurs faithful, but with a 100% record so far this season, and sat joint top of the table, Tottenham’s decision is looking pretty good.

And now, Harry Kane has come out in support of Pochettino and Daniel Levy’s decision, insisting that it has given the squad ‘huge belief’.

He told Sky Sports: “That’s what happens. The gaffer said he’s not just going to bring in players for the sake of it.

“What that does is it give the rest of the squad huge belief because it shows he has belief in us, so now we have to repay him for that and repay the club for that.”

In hindsight, do you believe that no signings was the right way to go?
