Tottenham make clear Luka Vuskovic plan for the summer, fans will be overjoyed

Tottenham Hotspur have a clear plan for the development of Luka Vuskovic as his stock continues to grow with each passing week.

Despite attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe, Vuskovic has made it clear that his future lies at Tottenham.

However, the Spurs teenager has opened the door to extending his loan spell at Hamburg for one more season.

In fact, Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe recently revealed that Vuskovic has informed Spurs that he wants to remain at Hamburg next season to play with his older brother, Mario, who is currently serving a doping ban.

Tottenham want to bring Luka Vuskovic back next season

However, Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has now revealed that the Lilywhites plan on bringing the centre-back back to N17 next summer.

He explained that HSV are ‘fighting’ to extend Vuskovic’s stay, but the youngster is also attracting interest from several top clubs in England.

Plettenberg wrote on X: “Hamburger SV are fighting to secure another loan deal for Vuskovic, but Tottenham’s clear plan is to bring him back in the summer. 18 y/o with an incredible season.

“Most recently, he has recorded the best duel success rates of all centre-backs in Bundesliga matches, both on the ground and in the air. HSV It remains to be seen what offers Spurs will receive after the World Cup. Top clubs from England are keen on him.”

Meanwhile, a recent report in a local Hamburg newspaper rejected claims that the club have already agreed a deal to extend the centre-back’s stay.

The report explained that Hamburg first have to secure their Bundesliga status before they can begin talks with Spurs over Vuskovic.

It was asserted that Tottenham will not loan the defender to a side in the second tier of German football, and claimed that the North Londoners are yet to make a final decision on the Croat’s future.
