Tottenham make Igor Tudor decision ahead of Atletico Madrid

There has been a big update on Igor Tudor after the Croat lost all of his first three games as Tottenham head coach.

The former Juventus boss has had a reality check on the difficulty of the challenge ahead of him at Tottenham, who have crumbled to defeats in all three of the London derbies he has taken charge of.

Tudor has admitted that the challenges he faces at Spurs are bigger than his previous jobs, with the 47-year-old trying to avoid becoming the first Spurs boss to take the side down to the second tier in nearly half a century.

He has not been able to elicit a response from a depleted Tottenham squad at the moment, with question marks about his future at the club.

Igor Tudor is scheduled to front Tottenham’s press conference

There have been suggestions in the media that Spurs should sack Tudor just 20 days after his arrival at the club.

Jamie O’Hara has joined the chorus of voices calling for Tottenham to make another managerial change (talkSPORT), but that is reportedly not on the cards for the time being.

This is according to journalist Tom Barclay, who revealed that Tudor is scheduled to take the press conference on Monday ahead of Spurs’ round of 16 Champions League first leg tie against Atletico Madrid.

Tudor has hinted Champions League is not a priority for Spurs

The interim Spurs head coach has already made it clear what he thinks about Tottenham resuming their Champions League campaign.

When asked about being drawn against Atletico Madrid last week, Tudor insisted that Spurs must focus on the ‘finals’ they have in the Premier League.

That belief would have become even more entrenched after Spurs’ loss to Crystal Palace, with the Croat’s words suggesting that he may name a weaker team for the clash against Atletico.
