Tottenham make official Conte staff announcement – Ryan Mason included

Tottenham Hotspur have now officially announced Antonio Conte’s management team, which includes former under-18 coach, Ryan Mason.

Mason took charge of the first team last season after Jose Mourinho was sacked, even leading his boyhood club out in a Carabao Cup Final.

Conte’s full staff will consist of: Cristian Stellini, Ryan Mason, Gianluca Conte, Costantino Coratti, Gian Piero Ventrone and Stefano Bruno.

Stellini will be the Assistant Head Coach to Conte and worked with the Italian at both Juventus and Inter Milan. Mason is named as a First Team Coach, replacing his title as the Academy’s Head of Player Development.

Gianluca, Antonio’s brother, is now the Technical & Analytics Coach, having been a part of Conte’s staff since his Bari days back in 2009.

The remaining three staff members are all fitness coaches, with Coratti working with Conte since 2012 at Juventus and Bruno having joined up with them at Inter last season. Piero was formerly assistant manager to Olivier Pantaloni at AC Ajaccio in France.

Spurs Web Opinion:

It sounds as though Conte has been allowed to bring plenty of people with him, which is always a good thing. It’s also great to see Ryan Mason in there too in order to continue his development and teach the other coaches about Tottenham history. It’s a shame not to see Ledley King there too.
