Tottenham man wins Player of the Month award for October

Tottenham Hotspur may be struggling in the Premier League at the moment, following that disappointing 1-1 draw at home with Sheffield United, but one Spurs man is thriving.

Jack Roles, the Spurs academy graduate on loan at Cambridge United, has now been voted the PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ League Two Player of the Month for October.

Roles won the award with 30% of the total votes, with the next nearest candidate only coming in at 16%.

The 20-year-old has been on loan at the League Two side since the start of the season, slotting straight into the Cambridge first-team set-up.

Roles already has 11 appearances to his name, one in the EFL Cup and ten in the league, as well as three goals in a Cambridge shirt (Transfer Markt).

He has yet to appear professionally for the senior Spurs team but did impress during the pre-season tour of the far east and the subsequent Audi Cup tournament during the summer.
