One Tottenham youngster’s future continues to be up in the air amidst a transfer complication, but a resolution could arrive over the coming days.
Regular readers of Spurs Web will be aware of the ongoing complications regarding the future of Alejo Veliz, who is the subject of heavy interest.
Spurs accepted an £8.7m bid for Veliz from Brazilian side Bahia, but the transfer has ground to a halt.
This is because Tottenham cannot recall the striker from Rosario Central for now, as the conditions for the clause to be activated have not been met.

Tottenham star Alejo Veliz is remaining calm after Bahia’s ‘irresistible offer’
According to a new report in El Ciudadano, Bahia remain desperate to complete a deal for the 22-year-old quickly.
The club’s offer ‘appears irresistible’ for Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Veliz, and Rosario are aware that the player is tempted by the offer on the table.
The Argentine club is monitoring the situation closely, and Rosario manager Jorge Almiron wants the 22-year-old to remain at the club until June.
For now, the Tottenham man is remaining calm and training with his boyhood club, but his future is expected to be clarified over the next few days, with a transfer described as likely.
Bahia are prepared to break the bank for Veliz
This update comes just days after Argentine outlets reported that Bahia are prepared to significantly increase their offer to clinch the deal for Veliz.
The report revealed that the Brazilian club are also prepared to offer Spurs a buy-back clause in every transfer window to sweeten the deal.
It was explained that for Veliz’s loan spell at Rosario to be terminated, either the striker has to ask to leave or Tottenham need to financially compensate the Argentine club.
