Tottenham midfielder rated on par with Pogba, Bale and Higuain

The new season has entered September, which means the newest instalment of FIFA is on the horizon, and official ratings have started to be released by EA Sports.

One Tottenham player who will be pleased with his new rating is Christian Eriksen, who sees his stocks rise in this year’s game.

Last season Eriksen was rated 87, but after an impressive year for Tottenham, and World Cup campaign with Denmark, his rating has jumped up to 88.

This puts him on par with the likes of Higuaín, Pogba, Bale, Insigne, Casemiro, Buffon, Busquets, and Rodriguez.

The great Dane has been given the following stats: 74 pace, 82 shooting, 89 passing, 86 dribbling, 53 defending, and 64 physical.

He has also been awarded with a five star weak foot, which is very rare in the game, along with four star skill moves and a high/medium work rate (attacking, defending).

This puts Eriksen in the top 30 players in the entire game!

Beside his name, EA Sports wrote: ‘Tottenham Hotspur’s creative genius is the type of player that always surprises and delights; when you think he’s run out of ideas, he pings a pass in at an impossible angle or scores a free kick that few players would even attempt. Eriksen conducts from midfield with his 86 Dribbling and 89 Passing ratings, and occasionally steps into the spotlight himself thanks to an 82 Shooting rating.’

What do you think of Eriksen’s rating? Should he be higher? Should he be on par with Pogba?
