A new date and time have been announced for Aston Villa vs Tottenham in the Premier League, as the Lilywhites desperately attempt to move out of the relegation zone.
Roberto De Zerbi’s spell at Tottenham started with a disappointing 1-0 loss at the Stadium of Light last week, with the Italian getting a reality check about the challenge that lies in front of him.
De Zerbi and Spurs now have just six league games to save their season, but some pundits cannot see where Tottenham’s next win is going to come from.
Given that Spurs are winless in the Premier League this calendar year, no game looks like a winnable one on paper at the moment, but De Zerbi remains confident that his side has the tools to stay up.

Tottenham’s fixture against Aston Villa has been rescheduled
Among the six league games Tottenham have left, the toughest on paper is arguably their trip to Villa Park at the start of May.
The game follows Spurs’ upcoming clashes against Brighton and Wolves, but it has now been revealed by The Standard that the clash has been rescheduled after the Villans’ progress to the Europa League semi-finals.
Spurs were initially set to play Unai Emery’s side at 12.30 pm on Saturday, May 2, but the crucial clash at Villa Park has now been pushed back to 7 pm, Sunday, May 3.
The clash is sandwiched between the two legs of Villa’s Europa League semi-final clash against Nottingham Forest.

Playing Aston Villa at this time may work to Spurs’ advantage
A top-five finish in the Premier League is expected to be enough for Champions League qualification, and Villa are in a strong position to qualify.
Their primary focus may thus be on the Europa League, which raises the possibility of Emery rotating his team against Tottenham on May 3.
This may not be a bad time for De Zerbi’s men to travel to Villa Park, but the Lilywhites desperately need to pick up points against Brighton and Wolves first, given the form that some of their relegation rivals are in at the moment.
