Tottenham now have ‘no chance’ of landing £59m target before transfer deadline

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a major blow in their pursuit of a £59m Premier League forward as the transfer deadline draws closer.

It has been suggested over recent days that Randal Kolo Muani could seek to cut short his loan spell at Spurs as he aims to get regular gametime elsewhere ahead of the World Cup.

According to reports, Juventus are now in contact with Kolo Muani over a loan move to Turin, but a deal will not be straightforward for the Old Lady to complete.

If Spurs do lose the Frenchman, they would likely want a replacement, and one Man City man is on their radar.

Tottenham will not be signing Omar Marmoush from Man City this window

Omar Marmoush continues to be linked with a move to Spurs after falling down Pep Guardiola’s pecking order at Man City.

However, a new report in the Egyptian outlet Win Win has claimed that Marmoush is going nowhere before the February 2 deadline.

The report says that Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have all shown interest in the Egypt international, but the forward is set to disappoint those clubs.

They claim to have heard from a ‘well-informed source’ that there is ‘no chance’ of Marmoush exiting Man City before Monday.

Marmoush is happy to stay at Man City until the summer

Tottenham and the forward’s other suitors may have hoped that he would push for a move away from the Etihad Stadium to get regular football under his belt ahead of the World Cup.

However, Win Win say that Marmoush has no intention of leaving and is determined to finish the season at the Manchester club.

Additionally, the outlet claims that the former Eintracht Frankfurt man is still part of Guardiola’s plans and enjoys the manager’s trust.
