Tottenham Hotspur became the first ever club not to make a single summer signing in the transfer window this year.
However, Spurs did manage to keep hold of every single big name player at club, even tying down many of them to new deals.
Harry Kane, Davinson Sanchez, Heung-Min Son, Harry Winks, and Erik Lamela were among those who signed new contracts.
However, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele and Christian Eriksen all have under two years left on their current deals.
Mundo Deportivo claim Tottenham are lining up a new contract offer for Eriksen in order to tie him down to the club amidst Real Madrid interest.
TeamTalk reported the story too, as the Great Dane is supposedly going to be offered a similar deal to star man Harry Kane.
Eriksen’s current deal runs out in 2020, and the midfield maestro would surely be worth well over £100 million in today’s climate.
Spurs will be desperate to see him sign on the dotted line.
