Juan Foyth has been talking about his future at Tottenham Hotspur.
The defender has not featured for the Spurs first team since December 28th when he was named in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven for the 2-2 draw against Norwich City.
Foyth was at fault for giving the ball away which led to the Canaries opening goal at Carrow Road and was hauled off at half time by the Portuguese (transfermarkt) with just two appearances on the substitutes bench since to his name.
The 22-year-old has been speaking to a media outlet in his native Argentina and admits that the lack of playing time has been difficult whilst also admitting that he will have to look for another club if he is not in the plans of his manager.
Foyth has seen Japhet Tanganga overtake him as a central defensive option in Mourinho’s side.
“But I don’t know, we have to wait now for the transfer window to open.
“If I am going to have opportunities here, I will be very comfortable. And if they won’t count on me, the best thing will be to find another club.
“I would like to stay in Europe, all leagues have a high level.
“My wish is to play at the highest level as long as I can. The main thing is to play.”
