Tottenham player is now the fourth highest paid teenager in world football

Tottenham Hotspur invested in a duo of new teenage wingers this summer after purchasing Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham.

The former went back on loan to his old club while Sessegnon is currently recovering from a hamstring injury with Spurs.

It is certainly a huge leap for both of these players, but Sessegnon does boast Premier League experience from his season with Fulham last year.

The 19-year-old managed to rack up six assists and two goals in 38 games for Fulham, despite the side being relegated from the Prem (Transfer Markt).

It was back in the 2017/18 season that Sess caught the eye with his 15 goals and six assists from left-wing for Fulham in the Championship (Transfer Markt).

The BBC reported that Spurs signed Sessegnon for £25m this summer, but what slipped under the radar was how much the youngster is being paid.

The Daily Mail have revealed that Sessegnon is on £70,000 per week with the North London club, making him the fourth highest-paid teenager in world football.
