Tottenham player joins European club on loan until the end of the season

It is fair to say that life hasn’t exactly worked out for Georges-Kevin Nkoudou in North London since joining from Marseille in the summer of 2016.

He has made just the three appearances this season for Tottenham, as he finds himself way down the Pochettino pecking order.

In fact, his start in the FA Cup against Crystal Palace was his first start since 2017, showing exactly how limited his chances have been at Spurs of late.

With Heung Min Son back at the club, and the likes of Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela in the squad, it is unlikely Nkoudou would be given any more minutes this season.

After rumours earlier in the day, Tottenham have now confirmed that the Frenchman has joined AS Monaco on loan until the end of the season.

It is unknown whether there will be an option to buy at the end of the deal of not.
