Report: Tottenham player labelled a Barcelona option

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of players in their ranks that may attract attention from the likes of Barcelona.

Hugo Lloris, the World Cup winning captain; Harry Kane, three time golden boot winner; Toby Alderweireld, one of the best centre backs in world football; Christian Eriksen, the Great Dane…

However, the latest Spurs man to be linked with a move to the Spanish giants is none other than Fernando Llorente.

Don Balon have claimed that Barca are after a cheap back up for Luis Suarez, a category Llorente would come under with under six months left on his Tottenham contract (as reported by HITC).

The publication shortlists Llorente, Alvaro Morata, and Kevin Gameiro as the three likely candidates.

Llorente would be the cheapest of the three, and probably the only likely one to join Barcelona due to recent club rivalries between the other two.

An extremely unlikely deal, but if Barca come knocking with a decent price, Spurs should take it and wish Llorente the best of luck.
