Tottenham player signs contract with the club until 2023

Tottenham Hotspur revealed today that starlet, Dane Scarlett, has signed his first professional contract with the club following his 17th birthday.

The report from Spurs claimed that Scarlett had signed a pre-contract with the Lilywhites that would run until 2023, but was only triggered by him turning 17 this month.

It has been a season of firsts for the teenager in North London, with Scarlett making his debut for the club back in 2020 in a Europa League match against Ludogorets Razgrad.

He made his Premier League debut in a short cameo against West Brom off the bench back in February of this year.

Scarlett also made another appearance in the Europa League against Wolfsberger AC, even recording his first senior assist for the club when setting up Carlos Vinicius.

In youth competitions this season, Scarlett has appeared 18 times, scored 22 goals and assisted another four (TransferMarkt).

Spurs fans everywhere will be glad to see the youngster put pen to paper on his first official senior contract with the North London club.
