Tottenham player undergoes surgery after another injury setback

In what comes as a further blow to Manor Solomon, Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that the winger has now undergone surgery to his meniscus on his right knee.

Spurs secured Solomon on a free transfer last summer and the pacy wide-man made a promising start to life at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, showing glimpses of his ability to take players and deliver quality balls into the box at the beginning of the season.

However, the Israeli international has not kicked a ball since suffering a meniscus injury back in August of last year.

The 24-year-old has had some set-backs in his road to recovery, with Ange Postecoglou telling Football.London last week that the winger is still some way away from returning to action.

Solomon himself took to Instagram earlier this week to admit that the past few months have been ‘the most difficult and frustrating’ time of his career but he insisted that he is working extremely hard to return to action as soon as possible.

Hopefully, this surgery will fix the root of the problem and the winger can return to action in a month or so. Solomon will certainly be desperate to return before the end of the season and show Postecoglou and the Tottenham fans what he can do.
