Tottenham player’s agent refuses to rule out potential exit amid interest from abroad

Radu Dragusin’s outspoken agent, Florin Manea, has reacted to the speculation over the Tottenham centre-back’s future.

The Tottenham defender has been out of action for nearly the whole of 2025, and he finally made his return to the matchday squad against Liverpool, being an unused substitute in Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat.

The 23-year-old has not played yet under Thomas Frank, and it is now being suggested that he could leave the club in the upcoming transfer window.

AS Roma are thought to have made advances towards Dragusin, while other Serie A clubs are also allegedly interested in the former Genoa man.

Radu Dragusin’s agent opens door to Tottenham exit

His agent Florin Manea has now admitted that Tottenham have no immediate plans of selling Dragusin and revealed that he has not spoken to any interested club.

However, he confirmed there is plenty of interest in the 23-year-old, adding that his client could consider a move if he does not get suitable game time with the Europa League champions.

Manea agent told DigiSport: “There’s some speculation, and we’re analysing it. The club doesn’t want to sell him right now. However, if the number of games he plays isn’t what we want, then we’ll take that into consideration. I’ll talk to him, and we’ll evaluate together.

“So far, no one has called me. It’s an open situation: there’s interest, even from England, but from smaller clubs. Italy remains a better option, because you’re joining a big team there.”

Manea reacts to Inter Milan’s interest in Dragusin

Over recent days, it has been suggested that AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli are all circling over the Tottenham defender, who is allegedly valued at €30m (£26m).

Manea has now hinted that he has a good relationship with Inter Milan boss Cristian Chivu, leaving the door open for the 45-year-old to contact him about the defender.

When asked about the Nerazzurri’s rumoured interest in Dragusin, Manea responded: “I haven’t spoken to Chivu, I just called to congratulate him. I know Inter will be looking for a central defender in the summer. If we decide that Radu needs to play more until then, we’ll let them know, and maybe Chivu will call me too.

“He still has four and a half years left on his contract with Tottenham, but the injury has kept him out for eleven months. I can’t allow him to spend another seven without consistency. We need to find a solution to get him playing. He’s 100% determined. Now let’s focus on January, and then we’ll see.”
