Tottenham Hotspur have booked their place in their first ever Champions League final in sensational circumstances.
Spurs have refused to do it the easy way all the way through this year’s competition, right from the group stage up to last night.
Tottenham looked down and out after three games in their tough group, alongside Barcelona, PSV, and Inter Milan.
Spurs has just the one point at this point in the group, but managed 7 in their next three games, including a late equaliser at the Camp Nou, to secure a qualification spot.
Fast forward to the quarter-finals and Spurs looked dead and buried yet again as Man City took the lead in the tie, however a late Llorente goal, and assistance from VAR in the final moments granted Spurs passage through to the semis.
Tottenham then went 3-0 down on aggregate to Ajax, before Lucas Moura scored a second-half hat trick to make club history.
