The draw for the World Cup playoffs will be the subject of plenty of discussions in the Tottenham changing room, with five players looking to keep their dreams alive of playing in the prestigious tournament.
We know that there is already going to be a big Tottenham contingent in next year’s World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
17 Spurs players have already seen their nations book their place in the World Cup, and several more have a chance to join them when the playoffs get underway.
It has now been confirmed that four Tottenham players – two on each side – could be battling it out for one spot in the tournament.

The draw for the World Cup playoffs has now been finalised, and Wales and Italy find themselves in Path A.
They will not be playing each other straight away as Brennan Johnson, Ben Davies and the Welsh contingent will forst go up against Bosnia in the semi-final.
Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario and the Italians will have to overcome Northern Ireland for a place in the playoff final.
Should the Dragons and the Gli Azzurri win their respective semifinal fixtures at home, the four Tottenham stars will square off against each other in Cardiff for a place in the World Cup.

Sweden have also sealed a spot in the playoffs, with Dejan Kulusevski, Lucas Bergvall and co having to beat Ukraine in the semifinal and one of Poland or Albania in the final to seal their spot in the World Cup.
Romania qualified for the World Cup play-offs via the Nations League spot, which means that Radu Dragusin also has a shot at being on the plane to North America.
Romania have to beat Turkey away from home in the semifinals and win againsy one of Slovakia or Kosovo in the final to seal their spot in the biggest event on the world footballing calendar.
