Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players have taken to Twitter following our 5-1 demolition of Stoke City earlier today.
Spurs took a 21st-minute lead through Ryan Shawcross’ own goal, and two goals in as many minutes from forwards Son Heung-min and Harry Kane early in the second half made the game safe.
Kane struck again and Christian Eriksen added a fifth before Shawcross headed a consolation. The victory meant that Tottenham ended a four match winless league run.
The result moves Spurs above rivals Arsenal and into fifth on goal difference, while Stoke drop to 15th. Remarkably, this was the fourth time in a row that Stoke have lost to Tottenham by four clear goals.
