While there are still more than three months to go before the transfer window reopens, we have already seen speculation intensify regarding Tottenham’s summer targets.

A new report has now suggested that the Lilywhites have indeed already started formulating plans for the summer, with Postecoglou making it clear to the club who wants to bring in.

The club’s technical director, Johan Lange, is now putting plans in place for a big recruitment drive, with a double raid of their London rivals on the agenda.

Tottenham eyeing double deal for Crystal Palace duo

This update comes from GiveMeSport, who say that Tottenham are eyeing moves for Crystal Palace’s highly-rated pair, Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze.

The report points out that Tottenham had a £70m offer for Marc Guehi rejected during the January window but are expected to try again for the centre-back in the summer.

This time, the Lilywhites are also plotting an approach for Eze, with Postecoglou’s men said to be fans of the midfielder.

The outlet claims that Spurs are likely to gauge ahead of the window whether the centre-back and the attacking midfielder would be interested in a switch to N17 before pushing ahead with offers for the pair.

Tottenham not prepared to meet Eberechi Eze’s release clause

However, GiveMeSport make it clear that despite Spurs’ admiration for Eze, they are not prepared to trigger the £68m release clause in the 26-year-old’s contract at Selhurst Park.

Spurs are ‘eager to discover’ if the Eagles will entertain any offers for the England international which falls short of the clause.

However, it is pointed out that Oliver Glasner sees Eze as a ‘key component’ of his side, which makes Tottenham’s pursuit harder.
