Tottenham post official injury update as trio return to training ahead of CL final

With just 10 days to go until the Champions League final, preparations are well underway for both Spurs and Liverpool.

The two sides are due to meet in Madrid on June 1 for the all-Premier-League final, with both sides looking to emerge from the match with a trophy and the title of champions of Europe.

It has been rumoured that a Tottenham contingent would be able to return in time for the final, including the likes of Harry Kane and Harry Winks (Express).

However, we now have official confirmation that a trio of previously injured Spurs stars have returned to training ahead of the CL final.

Harry Kane is the most high profile returnee, as he recovers from an ankle ligament injury, but is joined by Jan Vertonghen who left the last Champions League game in a protective boot and Davinson Sanchez, who sat it out with a thigh injury (Physio Room).

This will be a huge boost to Pochettino as he considers his options ahead of the biggest match in the club’s recent history.
