Tottenham Hotspur will be determined to get two of their prized assets tied down to new deals at some point this season.
Toby Alderweireld has got under 6 months left on his current deal, where as Eriksen has just entered the final 18 months of his own contract.
The Daily Mail report that Spurs are readying a big money offer for the latter, as they attempt to convince him to sign a new deal.
As one of the best playmakers in the Premier League, if not, the world, Eriksen would be extremely hot property if his contract was left to run down.
Spurs would then have to decide whether to sell up for a profit, or let the deal run down and see him leave on a free.
Getting him to sign a new contract is by far the most attractive scenario for all involved with Tottenham, and Spurs are said to be preparing a £140,000 a week offer.
This would double the wages the midfield maestro is currently on, and put him a lot closer to the wages of Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane.
