Tottenham push back season ticket deadline as fans fear Premier League relegation

Tottenham Hotspur have acknowledged growing relegation concerns in a communication sent to supporters about season tickets.

Tottenham Hotspur will never have expected to find themselves right in the thick of a relegation battle this season.

But sadly, that is the case for them, with one point the difference between themselves and fellow London rivals West Ham United.

The focus now is on turning their fortunes around, even though recent form under Igor Tudor leaves little hope of that happening.

Spurs are without a win under the Croatian and are winless in 2026 so far, compounding their misery.

Tottenham email to season ticket holders acknowledges relegation concerns

It remains to be seen where Tottenham will be playing their football next season. There is a real possibility that their top-flight status, which they have held for 49 years, could be relinquished if results on the pitch continue to falter.

The club has now acknowledged the situation in north London in a recent email sent to season ticket holders.

The message stated: “As previously communicated, General Admission Season Ticket Renewals for 2026/27 open today (Thursday 12 March).

“In line with our Ticketing Charter published in March 2024, we are committed to opening renewals by no later than 15 March each year.

“We recognise the seriousness of the current league position of our men’s team and, following discussions with our Fan Advisory Board and the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust, can confirm the renewal window for 2026/27 will now remain open for an extended period until Sunday 7 June to ensure fans have full clarity on next season before renewing.

“Everyone at the Club remains absolutely steadfast in our collective commitment to improve our Premier League position and finish the current season as strongly as possible.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your incredible support during this time.”

Spurs face crucial Liverpool test in relegation battle

Spurs are now gearing up for a Premier League clash with Liverpool this weekend as their fight for survival continues.

It is a pivotal match for the Lilywhites, who will be desperate to pick up more points than both Nottingham Forest and West Ham United, who take on Fulham and Manchester City, respectively.

Thus far this season, Tottenham have stayed clear of the relegation zone itself. However, before they kick a ball this matchweek, they could find themselves in 18th place should Forest and West Ham win their respective clashes.
