Tottenham Hotspur have this morning unveiled their new away kit for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
The shirt has a modern yet simplistic design by combining a deep lapis blue shade finished with black sleeves and a white logo.
The kit which is once again manufactured by US sportswear giants Nike as part of a long-term deal between the two that runs until 2033 (The Sun).
AIG appears as the main sponsor while the logo of Cinch appears on the left arm of the kit. Interestingly, the logos and Spurs badge are aligned centrally in the middle of the design.
Antonio Conte’s side will wear the new away kit for the first time during Saturday’s pre-season friendly with Spanish side Sevilla in South Korea.
The club also revealed that details of the yet-to-be-announced third strip will be announced in ‘due course’.
The kit almost resembles the old Tottenham Kappa away kits from the early 2000’s, it is something of a templated design and it will be interesting to see what reaction it gets from the fanbase on social media.
