Tottenham remain interested in this French attacker

According to CalcioMercato, Tottenham Hotspur remain interested in Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir.

The French star was a big target for Liverpool in the summer, but remained at his current club, and has continued to shine in their colours.

Nabil Fekir is now the captain of his club, and has led them to third place in the French League, as well as a last 16 tie against Barcelona in the Champions League.

He has scored seven goals and set up another four so far this season in 18 league and cup appearances. Last season he managed 23 goals and eight assists in 40 games.

The Mirror claimed that Liverpool were preparing a £50m bid for Fekir in the summer, while The Sun said Tottenham had been offered the forward.

Fekir’s current contract runs out in the summer of 2020, meaning Lyon will have to either set up a new deal or sell him for a decent price while they still can.

It seems unlikely that Spurs will shell out in January, but what a signing it would be.
