Tottenham Hotspur may have had vast injury problems throughout the 2018/19 season, but they can now boast a near-full complement of players as we inch towards pre-season.
However, Tottenham have revealed that one star had surgery yesterday and now has a period of rehabilitation ahead of him before the new season.
Ben Davies was scheduled to have his surgery over a week ago, and was thought to miss out of Wales’ two Euro 2020 qualifiers with a hernia.
However, the Welshman was able to play in the first match against Croatia, before leaving the squad early and missing the Hungary game (BBC).
Davies was reportedly playing through the pain barrier towards the end of the season with Spurs, perhaps driven by the possibility of a Champions League Final.
Spurs say the player is expected to return to training in time for pre-season, while the BBC claim he will be out for around six weeks.

Unfortunately my surgery was delayed for circumstances out of my control. Luckily this gave me the opportunity to meet up with Wales! pic.twitter.com/oD1kUL0vQN
