Tottenham Hotspur finally announced the signing of young Ryan Sessegnon this evening, as the player put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at Spurs until at least 2025.
The 19-year-old transfers over from Fulham, where he enjoyed a sensational 2017/18 Championship campaign, as well as his first taste of Premier League action last year.
The Mirror reported that they expected the deal to be worth around £25m, with Pochettino being keen on the winger since day one of the window.
Sessegnon only had one year left on his contract at Fulham, meaning Scott Parker’s side had to either sell up or risk losing him on a free.
The club also announced what shirt number the teenager will wear this season, and it may sound familiar to some fans.
Sessegnon will sport the number 19, which was vacated not so long ago by the fan favourite, Mousa Dembele, before he moved to China.
