Tottenham reveal three players have been left out to discuss potential transfer deals

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that they have made the decision to leave three players out of their pre-season tour due to the possibility of them being sold.

When confirming the squad which travels to Asia today for the upcoming matches against Juventus and Manchester United, the statement also included a paragraph in reference to Danny Rose, Vincent Janssen and Georges-Kevin Nkdouou.

The trio have been left out of the squad and given extra time off in order to be able to discuss a potential exit from North London with any interested parties.

Janssen came back into the first team fold under Mauricio Pochettino towards the end of last season following Harry Kane’s ankle injury but with just twelve months remaining on his contract looks to be on his way out.

The same can be said for Nkoudou who has failed to impress during his time at Tottenham and was sent out on loan to Monaco in January.

The most disappointing news is relating to Danny Rose’s potential sale which will see him end a twelve-year spell with Spurs.

A paragraph from a statement on the official Spurs website read: “Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Danny Rose have been granted additional time off in order to explore prospective opportunities with other clubs.”
