Latest reports reveal that Tottenham Hotspur are in danger of losing one academy star who is being closely monitored by top clubs in Europe.

Tottenham Hotspur’s youth-driven transfer strategy
In recent times, Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer strategy has been more focused on acquiring and developing young talent.
We have the likes of Will Lankshear and Mikey Moore, academy graduates, who have featured in the first team this season.
Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Mathys Tel, Wilson Odobert and Yang-Min Hyeok, are players who are all under twenty that have been signed by the Lilywhites in the last year.
Tottenham Hotspur are building not just for the present, but also for the future as these players have a high potential and are currently getting minutes in the first-team.

Tottenham in danger of losing Ellis Lehane to Serie A clubs
While the club is focused on developing young talents, there is also a risk of them losing a few of their own.
Recent reports from the Daily Mail, state that Juventus and AC Milan are keen on Tottenham Hotspur teenager striker Ellis Lehane.
The Lilywhites are said to rate the youngster highly and view him as a ‘key part of their future plans’. In a bid to hold on to their academy star, the north London club recently rejected an offer from Lecce, in the just concluded winter window.
Ellis Lehane, this season, has shown his quality for Tottenham’s under-18 side, scoring six goals in his ten appearances thus far.

Should Ellis Lehane leave Tottenham?
As a youngster, Lehane will be considering his options given the amount of interest shown in his services by some of Europe’s elite clubs. It is also understandable if the teenager is considering a move away from Spurs.
However, given the N17 club’s recent track record of playing teenagers in the first team this season, the young forward might also be tempted to stay as he might be given a chance soon.
The likes of Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear, Dane Scarlett and Damola Ajayi, are a few examples of academy graduates who have had a sniff in the first team. If Lehane continues working hard, then he will get his chance.
