Bournemouth center half Nathan Ake has had a fantastic couple of seasons in the south coast after moving to the club from Chelsea at the beginning of last season in a £20m deal.
According to a report in the Daily Star, the Dutchman’s performances at the Vitality Stadium have attracted the interest of several big hitters including Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea.
A report in the Telegraph claims that Chelsea have included a £40m buy-back option in their deal with Bournemouth for Ake, but that the 24-year-old is not keen on a move back to West London.
Additionally, with a transfer ban potentially kicking in for Chelsea from the summer transfer window, a move back to the Blues seems pretty unlikely for Ake.
Napoli are also said to be interested in the defender who they have identified as a long-term successor to Raul Albiol.
A move for Ake will certainly make sense for Tottenham particularly with Alderweireld looking like he might leave the club in the summer.
