Foot Mercato have revealed that Cercle Bruges sensation Kevin Denkey has emerged as a potential target for Tottenham and other European clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Cercle Bruges have been the surprise package of the Jupiler Pro League this season, with the club making a push for European qualification, mainly owing to the excellence of Denkey.

Foot Mercato say that Denkey is on the radar of both Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund, who have both sent scouts to watch the 23-year-old in action over recent months,.

In fact, scouts from the North London club were allegedly spotted at the Jan Breydel Stadium on February 18 as Cercle played out a 1-1 draw with Club Brugge.

The report adds that a few French clubs are also looking closely at the Togo international, who is allegedly valued by the Belgian side at €20m (£17m).

Spurs Web Opinion

It seems like Tottenham are keeping a close eye on the Belgian market, with the club seriously considering a move for Gift Orban last summer. However, unlike Orban, who just had one outstanding season for Gent, Denkey has now scored 20 goals for Cercle Bruges for three years in a row.
