Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed who will face the media ahead of their crucial Premier League clash with Liverpool, following their 5-2 defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

Igor Tudor’s struggles as Tottenham Hotspur manager continued once more on Tuesday night as the Croat fell to another defeat.

A ruthless Atletico Madrid put five past Spurs, who scored two in the first leg of their round-of-16 Champions League tie, leaving Tottenham with a mountain to climb in the return leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

That loss marked Tudor’s fourth consecutive defeat as Spurs boss, leaving him with a 100 per cent winless rate in the short spell he has been in charge.

Tottenham confirm Igor Tudor will lead Liverpool press conference

Despite his struggles in the Tottenham dugout, it looks like Tudor will be afforded another chance to lead Spurs out onto the pitch.

That is according to Alasdair Gold, who reports that Spurs have confirmed Igor Tudor will hold his press conference on Friday afternoon at 1:30 pm ahead of the Liverpool match.

It is a crucial game for Tottenham in their fight for survival, as a defeat could see them slip into 18th place if West Ham United and Nottingham Forest secure victory in their own matches.

Spurs pressure grows on Igor Tudor before Liverpool clash

There have been calls for Tudor to be relieved of his duties given his early struggles in the Spurs managerial hot seat.

The former Juventus boss has often been criticised for his tough-guy approach, which has had little effect on a Tottenham side devoid of confidence.

With pressure mounting, it remains to be seen if he will still be Spurs manager beyond this week should he suffer defeat against Liverpool.
